NMP Open Office Hours

Keeping your Nutrient Management Plan current is essential for maintaining compliance with Vermont regulations. The Orleans County Natural REsources Conservation District, in partnership with University of Vermont Extension, is offering NMP Update Open Office Hours to provide producers with one-on-one assistance in updating their plans.

  • Tuesday, April 7 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, April 8 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday, April 14 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, April 15 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

What These Sessions Offer

These working sessions provide dedicated time and technical support to help you:

  • Enter spring/summer/fall 2025 records into GoCrop
  • Review and print required reports and documentation
  • Roll your plan forward and adjust nutrient allocations for the upcoming season
  • Address required paperwork for CSFO/MFO/LGO or other certifications.

Annual updates and recordkeeping are required to remain in compliance with state regulations. OCNRCD Agriculture Resources Program Specialist, Jason Tankersley, will be available to answer questions and assist with updates.

What to Bring

  • Your NMP binder (maps, soils information, RUSLE2s, etc.)
  • goCrop login and password
  • Ensure your goCrop app has been updated and is ready-to-use
  • 2024 manure spreading, crop, grazing, and livestock records
  • New manure tests (required annually) and soil tests (required every 3 years), if available
  • Debit/credit card if your goCrop subscription needs renewal
    • Certified farms: $100 annual subscription
    • Non-certified farms: $50 annual subscription

Coffee and tea will be available. Please bring your own lunch if needed.
